We bring in exciting products that range from fried mussels and smoked trout, to exceptional Alentejo olive oil and pumpkin & walnut jam. José Gourmet began in 2008, with the idea to promote genuinely good Portuguese products and change people's perception of what tinned fish can be. Tinned fish is embedded in Portuguese culture, and until recently has often been considered a 'poor' product worldwide. The mission of José Gourmet is to create high quality products using the best raw materials. The fish is always bought at fair trade price from producers, and is caught fresh and cooked by hand. A great majority of the fish comes from Portuguese waters.They also aim to carry out this mission in style! The beautiful packaging is created with some help from famous illustrators around the world (André Letria, Teresa Lima, Cristina Valadas).
