Overview: Provisions London, is a young, importer, wholesaler and retailer of artisan food and wine, seeking a dynamic Sales Account Manager with a knowledge and passion for gastronomy. The role involves generating new sales leads and signing new wholesale accounts, alongside managing and developing existing accounts. The successful candidate will be able to drive sales and meet revenue growth targets
Main Purpose: Manage existing customer accounts and develop them to achieve revenue targets, create new leads and increase turnover.
Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure we offer some of the UK’s best customer service.
- Sales Process: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic account plans.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain detailed knowledge of our products and discuss new offerings with business owners and chefs to drive sales.
- Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service to top restaurant and hotel kitchens, addressing order-related questions confidently.
- Daily Operations: Process sales orders, resolve credit requests, and update clients on product availability.
- Sales Initiatives: Identify and implement new sales initiatives, suggest relevant produce to potential clients, and promote daily deals, lead an exciting program of events and tasting events with your customers
- Teamwork: Promote teamwork and adhere to Provisions Ethos.
Experience and Skills:
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales or account management with a track record of achieving targets, in similar field (artisan cheese, meat, fish, seafood, fruits or vegetable wholesaler)
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to build relationship with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience in CRM
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in driving sales initiatives.
- Market Analysis: Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform business decisions.
- Food Enthusiast: Interest in gastronomy and small scale production, slow food movement , particularly cheese, meat and terroir driven products, and familiarity with high-end food service is desirable.
- Adaptability: Energetic and quick to learn new tasks.
