Head of Cheese & Charcuterie

Location: London – Holloway & Hackney Shops
Type: Full-time

Provisions is a passionate, independent food and wine company, importing honest and delicious products from small-scale producers across Europe and the UK. With two buzzing shops and an online store, we’re now looking for a dedicated Head of Cheese & Charcuterie to lead this key area of our retail offer.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in food retail (cheese/charcuterie handling a plus)
  • Is passionate about artisan food and wine
  • Is organised, proactive and eager to learn
  • Has good communication skills and can lead in-house training

Main responsibilities:

  • Curate and maintain our cheese and charcuterie selections
  • Manage stock to ensure freshness and minimise waste
  • Track sales and develop strategies to grow the category
  • Ensure hygiene and safety standards are upheld
  • Train and support the shop team on cheese and charcuterie knowledge

You’ll be joining a tight-knit and supportive team, committed to making exceptional food more accessible and appreciated in London.

 


 

Food Wholesale Warehouse Assistant

Location: Leyton, London
Type: Part-time (15 hours/week)
Pay: £13.85/hour
Start date: 01/06/2025

We’re expanding! With the opening of our new warehouse in Leyton (early 2025), Provisions is looking for a part-time Warehouse Assistant to support our growing wholesale operation.

What we’re looking for:

  • An interest in food, logistics or hospitality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work well in a small team
  • Some experience in food handling or packing is a plus – but not required

Main responsibilities:

  • Prepare wholesale orders with care and accuracy
  • Cut and wrap fresh products (especially cheese & charcuterie)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in food storage areas
  • Support the daily operations of the warehouse
