I Contadini tomatoes are grown organically in an open field in Ugento, Puglia, and harvested by hand throughout the months of July and August. They are scalded on the same day as harvest, ground and then naturally pasteurised. To ensure only quality produce reaches customers, harvesters first make a collection of tomatoes th, for ultimate freshness.
