Petra - Bread Flour 1


Petra 1 is a 100% soft wheat flour from climate selection, stone ground with the innovative augmented stone milling process for a perfect optical selection of the grain and controlled sieving and calibration in the most advanced industrial milling plant in Italy. A more complete flour source of noble fibers and with a balanced content of the different parts of the grain. Thanks to these characteristics, Petra 1 ensures an excellent production yield, a high absorption of liquids and a prolonged duration of the mix.

It is used for all types of bread (ciabatta, loaves, loaves), savory and sweet leavened cakes of small and large size, puff pastry, fresh egg and water pasta, pizza in pan and with a shovel with a long maturation.

The Molino Quaglia family, from Veneto, Italy, have been millers for 4 generations, since 1914 and have created the Petra Flour as a desire to combine the new milling technologies and the evolution of wheat production due to climate. Their desire was to create a high-quality flour that would be both suitable for restaurants and also for consumers at home.
