Catarratto

The estate is situated on the western coastline of Sicily and facing the island of Egadi. Baglio Antico is a nod to the architectural heritage of rural Sicily. A ‘Baglio’ is a fortified building that protects farmers and traders from attacks from sea, as the location is on popular trade routes.

An excellent microclimate of sunshine and moderate rain. The skin of the grapes spends three weeks soaking in the juice, resulting in a wine that has some noticeable colour and a good amount of grip. 

Tasting notes : Crammed with pear skin & orange rind, fragrant wild herbs and ginger.

Food pairing : As this is located right on the Sicilian coast, it has to be seafood !

    - Same-day delivery within 5km of the shop is available via Stuart.

    - Next-day delivery across London is available via Packfleet for orders placed before 2pm.

    - National delivery across Great Britain (outside London) is handled by UPS and takes 2 to 4 business days.

    Orders of £75 or more qualify for free delivery across Great Britain with UPS/Packfleet. Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout based on the selected delivery method.
