One of Provisions best sellers. Gouda making originates from Middle Age, when the town of Gouda was the only place allowed to sell the cheese, which resulted in farmers from all over the country coming to Gouda to sell their cheese. Gouda is one of the most popular cheese in the world, and can be eaten young (semi-hard) or aged up to 5 years.
Our Gouda is 4 years old. It comes from the city of Gouda in Holland, located between Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht. Nearly 200L of milk is needed to make one wheel of Gouda. The rind is not edible. The texture is waxy, crumbly and can be a little sticky. On the nose, aromas of chocolate and caramel are noticeable, on the palate, notes of butterscotch, toffee, caramel. It has a long salty/sweet finish, a true delight !

- Next-day delivery across London is available via Packfleet for orders placed before 2pm.
- National delivery across Great Britain (outside London) is handled by UPS and takes 2 to 4 business days.
Orders of £75 or more qualify for free delivery across Great Britain with UPS/Packfleet. Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout based on the selected delivery method.
