Alessio Brudasin is a chef, restaurateur and founder of La Dispensa products. Originally from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, he worked and travelled as a chef, stopping for many years in London where he opened various restaurants.
Alessio is now back in Italy where he opened another restaurant Ritterhof, and decided to start a brand new project – La Dispensa ('The Pantry') .The idea behind La Dispensa was to preserve his style of cooking and passion for great produce for people to enjoy at home. All of his recipes are unique and original, and made using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
His ragus are handmade and produced with 80% meat and no preservatives. They are slow cooked using traditional methods to enhance aromas and flavours. This Venison ragu is richly textured with spicy notes. Add a little water when heating it up. You can use it with pasta or polenta to make the perfect dish!
