90% Syrah, 7% Grenache, 3% Mouvedre

Mas Theo are located in the northernmost limits of the southern Rhone, very close to Montelimar. They have 50 hectares of vines and practice biodynamic methods. This region has a hot, dry climate and they grow only typical southern French grape varieties.

Compared to other wines from Mas Theo, the Syrah for this cuvee is picked a little later. Then, 2/3 of the juice is aged for 12 months in French oak and 1/3 in concrete tanks and released 24 months after bottling. It's starting to show some nice bottle development!

Tasting notes : Ripe red fruits, dried mint, fennel, leather, cedar, black pepper and a pleasing earthiness. Full-bodied with fine smooth tannins.

Food pairing : Darker meats and exotic spices work perfectly with this wine !
