From one of Pommard’s most characterful lieux-dits, Les Petits Noizons, this cuvée embodies the soulful precision that defines the new era at Domaine Derain under Julien Altaber and Carole Schwab of Domaine Sextant. Farmed biodynamically and vinified with minimal intervention, it reflects both the depth of Pommard’s clay-limestone soils and the finesse of the Sextant touch.

The 2023 vintage offers a luminous expression of Pinot Noir: structured yet graceful, with lifted aromatics and an undercurrent of earth and spice.

Tasting notes: Black cherry, redcurrant, and violet, layered with hints of forest floor, smoked tea, and subtle minerality. Silky tannins frame a long, savory finish that promises complexity with age.

Food pairing: Excellent with roast lamb, duck breast with cherries, or lentils with wild mushrooms and herbs.
