Panificio Mastio's Pane Carasau is a traditional Sardinian flatbread, renowned for its history and distinctive characteristics. This ancient bread is meticulously crafted, achieving a thin, crispy texture that's both versatile and captivating.

Pane Carasau serves as a accompaniment to a wide range of dishes, from soups and salads to cheese and charcuterie platters. Its thin, almost paper-like layers offer a delightful crunch, and its neutral flavor makes it an ideal canvas for various toppings and seasonings.

The Mastio bakery was born in Galtellì in 1974 by Francesca Anna Monne. Today the daughter Giovanna, having spent her teenage years learning the secrets of the ancient art of craftsmanship, carries on the family tradition with great passion and dedication. 

Ingredients : Semolina, Durum wheat re-milled, Water, Salt, Brewer's yeast. Sprinkled with durum wheat semolina.
