Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Franc

When Hildegard laid eyes on La Grange de Quatre Sous, she knew that she'd found her home. Originally from Switerzland, this cool limestone plateau seemed the ideal place to leave behind her old life, restoring monuments, and begin a new one as a vigneron. The label is a nod to the Cameroonian heritage of her husband who helps her in the vineyard and winery. 

From the beginning, Hildegard worked with grape varieties that weren't in the official rules but that she felt were suited to the climate. The result is unique blend of Malbec, which thrives in this warm climate, alongside Syrah and Cabernet Franc, both of which lend freshness to the wine. 

Tasting notes : Ripe black fruit, dried herbs, wet earth. Fresh acidity and grippy tannins. Full-bodied and rustic. 

Food pairing : Serve this with hearty dishes such as Cassoulet !
